Gordian III. Æ (27.04 g), AD 238-244. Magnesia ad Sipylum in Lydia. Aurelius Theodotos B, strategos. AV KAI M ANT ΓOPΔIANOC, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gordian III right; c/m: head of Tyche right with cornucopiae before, within circular incuse. Reverse: Cybele seated left on cart driven by pair of lions, resting arm on tympanum. RPC 286.1 (dies A1/R1; this coin); Howgego 198. Very Rare and the only specimen not in a museum collection. Dark green patina with some red, minor smoothing. Choice Very Fine. Estimate Value $1,000 - 1,400
